ABOUT BCPPAC
The Butler County Progressive Political Action Committee was formed soon after the 2008 Presidential election principally by Oxford activists who had admired the organizing by Barak Obama’s presidential campaign.
Our first major event, an Inaugural Celebration Party at the lovely White Garden Inn, attracted nearly 100 guests.
Since then we have officially organized as a PAC and have been successful in recruiting and promoting progressive candidates for local office.
In raising funds over the years we have invited distinguished guest speakers who have included former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, former Senator Sherrod Brown, gubernatorial candidate Nan Whaley, Senate candidate Tim Ryan, and Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval.
The elected officials who have served with our endorsement prove the importance of local government to make a difference.
As we strive to reach beyond Oxford townships, we invite you to join in working to turn Butler County Blue.
