ABOUT BCPPAC

The Butler County Progressive Political Action Committee was formed soon after the 2008 Presidential election principally by Oxford activists–neighborhood leaders and team leaders and others–who had worked hard throughout Butler County to help elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Our first major event, an Inaugural Celebration Party at the lovely White Garden Inn, attracted nearly 100 guests. Since then we have officially organized as a PAC, and we elected officers and an executive board, raised campaign funds, endorsed candidates, and have hosted meetings with various political speakers. Some of our distinguished speakers include former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, Senator Sherrod Brown, former Rep. Connie Pillich, then-Ohio Democratic Party Chairman David Pepper, gubernatorial candidate Nan Whaley, in addition to local candidates and officeholders.  We invite you to join us as we work to turn Butler County a progressive Blue.  Please join our listserv by filling out the form at https://bcppac.net/mailing_list/. On behalf of the Executive Committee I invite you to attend our upcoming events which we will publish on our web page.

BCPPAC President
